EDITORIAL METHODOLOGY / OPEN

Trustworthy knowledge begins with a transparent process.

FIELD is organized around physical mechanisms and complete current paths. It separates curated text, OCR review, scan indexes and authoritative-source summaries; searchable does not mean edited, and design experience is not a regulatory conclusion.

FIELDTRACEABLE KNOWLEDGEOPEN METHOD
01

Engineering spine first

The site follows one mechanism–design–PCB–case spine. Other material enters curated or extended layers according to engineering relevance and conversion quality.

02

Structured HTML

Source documents become independent HTML fragments preserving headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and optimized images; the reader does not parse Markdown at runtime.

03

Four content states

Core reference, curated full text, OCR review preview and index-only records are distinct. OCR coverage is shown alongside total pages so partial extraction never appears complete.

04

Two quality dimensions

Conversion quality checks text layers, corruption, duplication and visual fidelity; editorial curation separately judges engineering relevance.

05

External-source summaries

External material receives a concise engineering-use summary without copying protected standards text; official pages remain authoritative for edition and status.

06

Text-to-page verification

Reference page images are retained for checking equations, figures and layout semantics, while structured text supports search and reading.

QUALITY GOVERNANCE / LIVE

Turn uncertainty into a traceable review state.

Every document is checked for structure, corrupted text, unsafe markers, body volume and image mapping. Conceptual visuals are limited to teaching use and never presented as simulation, measurement or certification evidence.

DOCUMENTS

An automated pass is not an engineer's sign-off.

320 records require manual review, and every OCR preview must be checked against the source. 39 records remain index-only and are never presented as complete text.

VISUALS

Conceptual field lines explain topology only.

30 conceptual visuals have completed AI-assisted technical review; 0 remain pending, and 0 are quantitative results. The review covers physical topology, arrow direction, color semantics, misuse risk, and scope boundaries, but is not an external EMC engineer's sign-off.

BOUNDARY

FIELD supports engineering knowledge and decisions.

It does not provide legal advice, certification guarantees or a compliance conclusion for a specific product. Formal market access requires complete product information and qualified manufacturers, laboratories and professionals.
